Dr. Dean Vicksman, a Denver native, graduated
with honors from Colorado State University
School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He was
then accepted into Angell Memorial Animal
Hospital’s internship program in Boston for
advanced training in small animal medicine and
surgery. He has co-owned and directed Evans
East Animal Hospital since April 1, 1987, with
Dr. Steve Kromka. His personal interests
include skiing and martial arts. Dr. Vicksman
has a black belt in Peoples Kenpo Karate, is a
guest speaker on ABC Channel 7 and FOX31 News
weekly pet segments. He is Chairman of the Board
at the Dumb Friends League and is a
participating member of the Veterinary News
Network. He and his wife, Rebecca, and their
two children, Sarah and Koby, enjoy their dogs
Maddie, Whinnie, and Jadzia.

Dr. Steve Kromka

Dr. Steve
Kromka was born and raised in Los Angeles,
California. He moved to Colorado in 1973 to
finish his undergraduate studies. He graduated
with honors from Colorado State University
School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981, and then
was accepted into Angell Memorial Animal
Hospital’s internship program for advanced
studies in small animal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Kromka has participated in the Denver Area
Veterinary Medical Society and served on the
professional policy committee. His interests
and hobbies include: golf, reading, activities
with his wife Sherry, and son Billy, and their 2
cats, Tawny and Lizzy, and 2 dogs, Buddy and
Lucy. Dr. Kromka also completed the Master
Gardener program at Colorado State University,
and still enjoys gardening and horticulture
activities.

Dr. Meriam Tadros

Dr. Meriam
Tadros received her Doctorate of Veterinary
Medicine degree from Cairo University in 1999.
She completed a one year internship from
Oklahoma State University in 2003. Dr. Tadros
was doing volunteer work at Evans East Animal
Hospital while completing her veterinary
studies. She worked in private practice for 1
year, then joined Evans East Animal Hospital
permanently in 2004. Dr. Tadros speaks three
languages, enjoys traveling with her husband,
Joseph, and participating in outdoor activities.

Dr.
Erin Casey, a Colorado native, graduated with a
BS in Environmental Health from Colorado State
University. Then she received her Doctorate of
Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State
University in
2008. Additionally, Dr.
Casey received a certification in veterinary
acupuncture and a minor in business. After
graduation she was accepted into New York City
Veterinary Specialists' internship program in
Manhattan for advanced training in small animal
specialty and emergency medicine. Her personal
interests include
skiing/snowboarding, hiking, photography,
and traveling. Dr. Casey and her fiance'
live with their husky named Sakari, their
Italian mastiff named Delilah, and their orange
cat named Cheese. |
