Dr. Kathleen O’Neill grew up in New York State and received a B.S. in Animal Science from UMass Amherst. Between undergrad and veterinary school, she spent a few years working as a professional equine groom for an upper level Event rider, manager of an equine research facility, and then as a small animal veterinary technician. She went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, class of 2023, and finished her clinical year at Tufts University graduating summa cum laude. After graduating, Dr. O’Neill completed a rotating internship at Colorado Animal Specialty and Emergency in Boulder, CO. She has a special interest in small animal nutrition and hopes to bring that love into her everyday practice. Dr. O’Neill still enjoys working with horses, hiking, and hanging out with her 2 dogs at home.
